    Come to Story Time - a fun, early literacy program for kids eight and under. Join us for interactive stories, songs, rhymes, and crafts. The early literacy practices featured each week help build a foundation for the lifelong love of reading and learning. For parents and caregivers, Story Time offers an opportunity to experience early literacy strategies in action, discover great books and resources for home use, and socialize with other parents afterward. Wednesday and Friday sessions share a theme with something new and exciting each week. Registration is not required. Join us on Wednesdays and Fridays at 10:45 a.m.

Caileigh will offer a new project each month. There will be painting, sculpting, and experimenting with several art styles and techniques. Classes will be held each Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

    Do you need help with technology? The Huntsville Public Library is now offering the "Book-a-Tech" program, consisting of individual technology instructional sessions. Typically, these sessions last thirty minutes. But patrons can request another lesson as needed. Please register at www.huntsvilletx.gov/171/Public-Library and our IT staff will contact you to schedule your free 30-minute appointment in which you can bring your personal devices to the library for a one-on-one session. Remember, your appointment is not confirmed until a member of staff contacts you.

    Whether you are a seasoned poet, a first time presenter, or just a lover of literature, please join us for a night of community support of the arts! This free event is open to ages 16+ to recite or listen to the diversity of the voices in our community. We encourage writers of all experience levels and backgrounds to attend and share your art, all genres and styles are welcome. Poems, songs, short stories, and pre-published works of literature are all allowed. Performance slots are first come, first served, on a volunteer basis. Suggested reading length is 3-5 minutes per performer. Join us the last Wednesday of every month from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
