Mission Accomplished at Huntsville Public Library! Whether you like funny cats, space battles, magical kingdoms, or just relatable stories about real kids, there will be something for you! At each book club meeting, you can enjoy fun crafts and activities related to the story. The Early Readers Space Cats Book Club will meet weekly at 4 p.m. on Monday, June 13 and 27. Children between the ages of 6 and 10 are welcome to attend. Selections will include books such as Binky the Space Cat and Narwhal and Jelly. Titles do not need to be read before the start of each meeting.

Everybody’s favorite exercise program is being offered from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Fridays at the Huntsville Public Library in conjunction with Huntsville Memorial Hospital. Sittercise is designed to help those who are aging and/or dealing with chronic illnesses. Sittercise focuses on strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, endurance, and overall improved function. Please consult your doctor before starting any new exercise program. Liability waivers are required to participate and are available from the instructor. The class is free and open to adults ages 18 and older. Class is limited to 25 so social distancing can be maintained.
