Beginner Microsoft Excel Classes

Need a way to keep track of your schedule or budget? Have you been meaning to learn Microsoft Excel but don’t know where to start? Learn how to organize your data by attending Huntsville Public Library’s free Microsoft Excel classes for beginners.  Classes will be offered from 11a.m. to 12 p.m. on Tursdays and 5 p.m.to 6 p.m. on Thursdays starting Tuesday, September 2 in the Monday Computer Room. Topics to be covered will include making a new file, data entry, cell formatting, formulas, and manipulating a finished table. Microsoft PowerPoint Classes

Learn how to create a presentation with animation, narration, images, videos, and much more! Huntsville Public Library will offer free Microsoft PowerPoint classes from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tuesdays and 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursdays starting Tuesday, August 3 in the Monday Computer Room. Topics to be covered will include the Ribbon, Quick Access Toolbar, and Backstage View. Class size is limited. Microsoft Word Classes

Want to create and edit professional resumes, newsletters, and documents? The Huntsville Public Library is offering Free Microsoft Word Classes. A series of 4 classes from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.  Tuesdays and 5 to 6 p.m. Thursdays in July. These classes will feature activities on typing and how to make corrections, formatting text, working with pictures and graphics, and using tables and outlines with bullets. Class size is limited and registration is required. A library card is needed to participate in the classes. If you don’t have a card, bring your ID. Book-a-Tech

Do you need help with technology? The Huntsville Public Library is now offering the "Book-a-Tech" program. Please register here and one of our IT staff members will contact you to schedule your free 30 minute appointment in which you can bring your personal devices to the library for a one on one session.
