Press release 2-24-2022

On February 24, 2022 officers with the Huntsville Police Department responded to Huntsville Memorial Hospital in reference to a gun shot victim. The victim advised he was shot in the 1700 block of 11th St. by a subject he knew only as “School”. The victim, who is in serious condition, was transferred via ambulance to a Houston Area Hospital. With help from the community it was determined that the suspect is 63 year old Kenard Ray Robinson. Robinson is a Black male, 5’11, 235lbs, and should be considered armed and dangerous. Robinson has advised family members that he is willing to “shoot it out” with any law enforcement attempting to apprehend him. Robinson has an active warrant for Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon. It is believed that Robinson may have fled to the Houston area.
