The City of Huntsville’s Main Street Program is excited to host live music at Rather Park every Thursday in August at 7:00 p.m. The Main Street Music Series is free to attend, and the community is encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and coolers.
The music series will kick off with acoustic performances by Jerrett Zoch on August 5 and Tyler Hodgson on August 12. The third week will feature classic R&B and contemporary covers by The Brown Sugar Band on August 19. The music series will end with a performance from rock musicians, Double Vision A Tribute to Foreigner on August 26. Bounce houses and lawn games will be available, and Kona Ice will be on-site with snow cones for purchase throughout the month.
Main Street Program Manager Annel Guadalupe said, “The Main Street Program is excited to bring back live music for everyone in the community to enjoy. This family-friendly music series is a great opportunity for the community to gather outdoors at no cost.”
The City of Huntsville Main Street program is a redevelopment program that uses a combination of organization, economic development, infrastructure improvements, and promotions to revitalize downtown.
