Southbound IH 45 will be closed at Smither Drive on night of Sunday, June 22, 2025, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following mornings. Southbound traffic will be redirected to exit at Exit 115 (FM 1374/Montgomery Road), continue south on the frontage road, and re-enter IH 45 South near Huntsville Memorial Hospital.
Message boards will be in place advising drivers about the closure and law enforcement officers will be in place to help with the flow of traffic.
