HUNTSVILLE – On Tuesday, May 27, and Wednesday, May 28, 2025, the northbound main lanes on IH 45 will be closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following mornings, weather permitting.

Traffic will be required to exit at Exit 114 (FM 1374/Montgomery Road) and will continue northbound on the frontage road. Traffic can re-enter IH 45 North using the entrance north of Smither Drive. The closure is needed to facilitate work on the Smither Drive bridges.

Message boards will be in place advising drivers about the closure and law enforcement officers will be in place to help with the flow of traffic.
