The City of Huntsville will include a drainage fee on all Utility Bills. Residential property shall be

assessed at $5.00 per month. Drainage fee for non-residential will be calculated for each benefitted

property using impervious area on the Parcel in square feet X $0.00152 per month. Drainage fee for

property owned by a school district, religious and county will be calculated for each benefitted

property using impervious area on the Parcel in square feet $0.00076 per month. The City Council

approved the Drainage Fees at the October 1,2024 meeting. The Drainage Fee is a system where

residents and business pay a fee to help manage the city’s drainage infrastructure.
