To promote growth, expansion, and resiliency in City of Huntsville neighborhoods through use of community development and revitalization investments.

Functional Activities

The Grants Management Department is a vital resource to the City of Huntsville.  The Department functions to develop and coordinate grant-funded programs to supplement local annual budget allocations.  The Department is responsible for securing supplemental funds to aid the City of Huntsville in bridging existing fiscal gaps to achieve various community development initiatives.
