Mother Goose Lapsit

Bubbles, rhymes, and books--oh my! You won’t want to miss Mother Goose Lapsit at Huntsville Public Library. This program is a story time designed for children two years or under. Enjoy this early literacy initiative at 10:45 a.m. Mondays in the Rex Children’s Room. Sign-up is not required.

3D Printing Classes for Teens

Ever wondered how 3D printing works? Want to take a crack at making your own 3D model? Huntsville Public Library is offering two 3D printing classes during the month of July. Participants will learn to make a 3D model in Tinkercad and their model will be printed by library staff. Staff will notify participants via phone and/or email when their print is ready to pick up. A teen 3D printing class for ages 12-17 will take place in the Rex Children’s room on Monday, August 22 from 5-6 pm. A 3D printing class for patrons 18 and over will be offered in the Adult Computer Lab on Friday, August 26 from 5-6 pm.

Zine Workshop for Tweens

Come make homemade magazines that let you share your interests with others! Whether you want to tell your friends about your favorite ice cream flavors or books, or share your poetry or drawings with the world, zine-making is for you! A Zine Workshop for Tweens (ages 8-12) will be held at 5 p.m. on Monday, August 22. Be sure to check our September calendar for a Zine Workshop for Teens. No registration required.
