Do you have children ages 2 or under? If so, then Mother Goose Lapsit is a storytime designed for you! Enjoy a half-hour of developmentally appropriate activities featuring stories, songs, and rhymes Mondays at 10:30 a.m. This program introduces little ones to the story time experience and is perfect for developing language and vocabulary. Sign-up is not required.

Six workshops with a focus on helping you to self-manage your Diabetes begin at 1 p.m. on Mondays on May 13 and continue through June 24 in the Staggs Community Room in the Huntsville Public Library. Sponsored by Texas A&M Center for Population Health & Aging and the Houston Galveston Area Council’s Area Agency on Aging and hosted by Huntsville Public Library, they are designed to help participants deal with the symptoms of Diabetes, such as fatigue, pain, stress, and frustration. Other topics covered include: healthy eating, medication use, and working with health care providers. Limited to 12 participants, classes are hands-on and highly interactive. Cecilia “Ce” Schlicher, Master Trainer, works under the Texas A&M Center for Population Health & Aging license.
