But one thing’s for sure–there will be magic, dragons, monsters, and more fun than you can imagine at Huntsville Public Library! D and D also builds creativity, writing skills, and teamwork. This group will meet every other week on Wednesday evening at 5 p.m. Teens 14-18 are welcome! No prior experience is necessary!

    Ever wondered how 3D printing works? Want to take a crack at making your own 3D model? Huntsville Public Library is offering two 3D printing classes during the month of July. Participants will learn to make a 3D model in Tinkercad and their model will be printed by library staff. Staff will notify participants via phone and/or email when their print is ready to pick up. A teen 3D printing class for ages 12-17 will take place in the Rex Children’s room on Monday, August 22 from 5-6 pm. A 3D printing class for patrons 18 and over will be offered in the Adult Computer Lab on Friday, August 26 from 5-6 pm.

Everybody’s favorite exercise program is being offered from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Fridays at the Huntsville Public Library in conjunction with Huntsville Memorial Hospital. Sittercise is designed to help those who are aging and/or dealing with chronic illnesses. Sittercise focuses on strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, endurance, and overall improved function. Please consult your doctor before starting any new exercise program. Liability waivers are required to participate and are available from the instructor. The class is free and open to adults ages 18 and older. Class is limited to 25 so social distancing can be maintained.

  43. 3D Printing Classes for Adults

    Ever wondered how 3D printing works? Want to take a crack at making your own 3D model? Huntsville Public Library is offering two 3D printing classes during the month of July. Participants will learn to make a 3D model in Tinkercad and their model will be printed by library staff. Staff will notify participants via phone and/or email when their print is ready to pick up. A teen 3D printing class for ages 12-17 will take place in the Rex Children’s room on Monday, August 22 from 5-6 pm. A 3D printing class for patrons 18 and over will be offered in the Adult Computer Lab on Friday, August 26 from 5-6 pm.
