Snow will be in Huntsville this Saturday at the Huntsville Christmas Fair. Activities will be from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., with 80 booths being featured. There will be two events that charge a fee, the train rides and playing in the snow, at $1 per ticket or $5 for 6 tickets.
Main Street Coordinator Debra Charbonneau said there will be food for sale and also street vendors, so you can find that special gift you have been seeking.
At the same time, the City's Parks and Leisure Department will be hosting Winter in the Park at Rather Park (University Avenue at 13th Street). There will be arts and crafts, hot cocoa, and more.
Charbonneau noted that the Old Town Theatre will be performing Dickens on the Square and caroling during the day, as well as holding a free Nutcracker costume party at 2, and a free tea at 3 (more information at 936-293-8681).
We have confirmed that the big man himself will even visit from the North Pole - Come take your selfie with Santa!
