FEMA will be at Fire Station #1 this week
City of Huntsville Emergency Management Coordinator John Waldo announced that Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) staff is currently working at Fire Station #1 to register claims from Hurricane Harvey. FEMA staff confirmed they will be on site from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. from Monday, September 5, 2017, through at least the end of the week. FEMA is registering all claimants, they do not need to be Walker County residents. Those who register should know their Social Security number, but they do not have to bring documentation for this registration process.
Fire Station #1 is located at 1987 Veterans Memorial Drive, near Daisy Lane, in Huntsville.
