Law Enforcement Week
Tuesday, June 14, 2022
Huntsville Public Library invites parents and PreK through Elementary School aged children to come visit with some of our local law enforcement officers as they share information about their careers and how they help keep our community safe. Law Enforcement Week begins Monday, June 13 with a visit from a Walker County Sheriff's Department Deputy. Learn more about Huntsville’s Police Department and what it takes to be a police officer on June 14. On June 15, you can learn about the Huntsville Fire Department and what it's like to be a firefighter. A fun, information packed presentation by the U.S. Forest Service on June 17 rounds out the week. Presentations start at 3:00 pm each day so be sure to mark your calendars and join us for Law Enforcement Week at your favorite public library!
