- The Artist will paint a large scale mural of East Texas wildlife onto a downtown building

- The artist will provide 140 hours of weaving demonstrations at the Wynne Home and will provide looms for visitors to be able to participate

- The artists will create a parade dragon featuring a large mask and body of silk fabric for use in parades and special visitor events

- Funds will support 3 outside-the-area groups to perform and provide use of the facility to service non-profit groups

- The production of 4 plays, each with seven performances, will be presented with funding assistance for this project

- This proposal is to present a total of 7 performances and programs by the Men's Choir of 40-50 singers

- This proposal is to present children in folkloric dance at the major community festivities such as Fair on the Square, Sam Houston Folk Festival, Cinco de Mayo and other events

- A diverse group of senior dancers, trained in weekly sessions, will perform at Folk Festival, Fair on the Square, Walker County Fair, and Unity Dinner

- The project would pay a conductor to lead the youth orchestra in 2 public performances in the downtown area and 3 performances by HYO Chamber groups

- The Last Statement artist will exhibit black and white photographs and statements from family members of both the victims and offenders of capital crimes

- Designed to offer quilting opportunities to persons throughout this region, the project provides a weekend workshop and reception

- The Tall Pines Quilt Guild sponsors this outdoor event to show more than 300 quilts on the Downtown Square.
- Printed literature will be produced and mailed

- Trained Junior High School girls will assist in community events such as Airing of the Quilts, MLK Celebration and Fair on the Square.
- An exhibit is planned of their journals and photographs at the Library and at the Wynne Home

- This provides theatrical performances at the Sam Houston Folk Festival representing African American history and displaying arts and crafts
