Story Time at night? You bet'cha! Join us for a special "Evening Story Time - Cocoa with the PoPo" at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, January 4 in the Huntsville Public Library's Children's Room. Enjoy hot chocolate and a reading by Officer Ryann Kaa-Bauer from the Huntsville Police Department. Sign-up is not required. This program is best suited for ages 5 and under.

Want to learn how to build an app, design a videogame, and change the world through code? Come join HPL's Girls Who Code Club! GWC is a national nonprofit organization with a mission to close the gender gap in technology, one girl at a time. HPL will be launching its own Girls Who Code Club starting January 4, 2018. Meetings will be held every Thursday of the spring semester at the Library Community Room from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. As a condition of acceptance, members are required to attend at least 80 percent of meetings throughout the semester.
