3D Printing for children

Is your child interested in the world of technology?  Learn to 3D Print with him or her in a three day class at the Huntsville Public Library.  This class will be held from 5:15-6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evening in the Board Room.  Class size is limited to five students aged 7-15 and a parent must attend the program.  At the end of each session, students will be able to take home their 3D printed object.  Multiple sessions scheduled: September 13th, 14th, 15th;September 20th, 21st, 22nd; October 11th, 12th, 13th;   October 18th, 19th, 20th; October 25th, 26th, 27th.    Registration is required and participants will need to bring their own USB drive.

Give your vision some DIMENSION! 

Learn to DESIGN, SCAN & PRINT in 3D. Join the Huntsville Library for a three-day introduction to 3D printing from 11:30 to 12:30 in Community Room.  The first session begins October 11th- 13th, the second session will begin October 18th-20th, the third session will begin October 25th-27th and the fourth session will begin November 1st-3rd.  Over the course of this program, participants will learn the basic of 3D printing and software, design a 3D model of your choosing with the software and print a 3D model to take home. Participants are required to bring their own USB flash drive to save their 3D print model. These classes are limited to eight patrons per session over the age of 18. Please only register here for one session and prior computer skills is also required for this program.
